For the past four years, I have been documenting the back sides of strip malls. So much effort and thought is put into the front of these buildings, but the back sides are, for me, the most interesting. They're cold, eerie, utilitarian. But they also a space filled with wonderful lines and angles. There's strange and unknown stories behind every door and in every corner. There's beauty there in its stillness and silence.
